Gallery MOA는 2016년 11월 19일(토)부터 12월 31일(토)까지 국제 장신구 "International Art Jewelry Sculpture Show(2016)”전이 진행된다. 한국에서는 중진작가 권향아, 김경희, 남화경, 민복기, 박지은, 서애란, 신혜림, 오병욱, 이주현, 이윤령, 조성혜, 조성호, 조유진, 최재욱, 홍경희(15인)과 일본의 중견작가 Eriko Unno, Haruko Sugawara, Itto Mishima, Kinuko Yamashita, Kiyoaki Tashiro, Kyoko Kurooka, Kyoko Tujita, Minato Nakamura, Nahoko Fujimoto, Takashi Kojima, Tomoyo Hiraiwa, Yasuyuki Oyama(12인), 놀웨이의 세계적인 작가 Anne Pfeffer Gjengedal, 이태리의 Patrizia Bonati, 스웨덴의 Maria Borjesson, 오스트랄리아의 Leslie Matthews를 초대하여 "International Art Jewelry Sculpture Show(2016)”전시를 개최한다.

 

본전시는 장신구를 작은조각으로 바라보며, 인간의 몸과 함께하는 "입는 조각, 사용하는 조각, 움직이는조각, 변화하는 조각” 의개념으로 대중들에게 다가간다.

 

장신구는 금속을 재료로 한다는 일반적 개념을 넘어서 나무, 천, 종이, 알루미늄, 재활용 플라스틱, plastic models등을 사용하여 재료의 혁신 뿐만 아니라, 보석과 같은 새로운 가치를 창출함으로써 장신구의 개념을 재 탄생하도록 한 것이다.

 

이와 같이 31인 작가들의 다양한 재료 사용기법과 각기 다른 작품의 향기와 감각을 엿볼 수 있는특별한 전시가 될 것이다.

 

 

Gallery MOA will be held "International Art Jewelry Sculpture Show(2016)” from 19th(Sat) NOV to 31st(Sat) DEC, 2016.

 

For the Exhibition, Gallery MOA invites fifteen leading Korean Art Jewelry artists, HyangAh Kwon, KyungHee Kim, HwaKyung Nam, BogKi Min, JiEun Park, AiRan Seo, HeaLim Shin, SungHo Cho, SungHae Cho, YuJin Cho, ByungWuk Oh, JooHyun Lee, YunRyoung Lee, JaeWook Choi,  KyungHee Hong and internationally established twelve Japanese artists, Eriko Unno, Haruko Sugawara, Itto Mishima, Kinuko Yamashita, Kiyoaki Tashiro, Kyoko Kurooka, Kyoko Tujita, Minato Nakamura, Nahoko Fujimoto, Takashi Kojima, Tomoyo Hiraiwa & Yasuyuki Oyama. Along with internationally well known Norwegian art jewelry artist Anne Pfeffer Gjengedal, Patrizia Bonati from Italy, Maria Borjesson from Sweden and Leslie Matthews from Australia are joined together.

 

This exhibition will show art jewelry as small pieces of sculpture, with the concept of wearable sculpture, useable sculpture, changing piece of sculpture and moving sculpture with the human body.

 

These art Jewelries are made by innovative materials using wood, cloth, paper, aluminum, recycled plastic, plastic models, including beyond the general notion of the metal as the main jewelry material, as well as, creating a new value and definition of ornament as an art jewelry.

Thus, this special exhibition will be showing in a variety of materials, techniques and the different senses of the 31 artists.
